A quieter week for new arrivals on Netflix, there are still some excellent new movies and TV shows for subscribers to enjoy this weekend.

A Killer Paradox (Season 1) N

Fans of the anime Death Note may find lots of internet in Netflix Korea’s exciting and unsettling crime thriller.

After accidentally killing a serial killer, college student Lee Tang finds himself in an endless game of cat and mouse with shrewd Detective Jang Nan-Gam.


One Day (Limited Series) N

Seasons: 1 | Episodes: 14
Genre: Drama, Romance | Runtime: 39 Minutes
Cast: Ambika Mod, Leo Woodall, Essie Davis, Tim McInnerny, Amber Grappy

The series is considerably longer than its film adaptation, which consists of fourteen episodes. With Valentine’s Day less than a week away, we expect One Day will be one of the most-watched originals this week.

Emma and Dexter meet for the first time on the night of their graduation. They soon go their separate ways, but over 20 years, an extraordinary relationship is formed between them.


Monk (8 Seasons)

Seasons: 8 | Episodes: 124
Genre: Comedy, Crime, Drama | Runtime: 44 Minutes
Cast: Tony Shalhoub, Jason Gray-Stanford, Ted Levine, Traylor Howard, Bitty Schram

Tony Shalhoub recently returned for Monk’s last case on Peacock. Meanwhile, Netflix subscribers get to watch all eight seasons.

With the unsolved murder of his wife, Adrian Monk develops OCD and a fear of germs and contamination. Quitting his job as a homicide detective of the San Francisco PD, he becomes a consultant, working on SFPD’s most challenging cases.


My Wife and Kids (5 Seasons)

Genre: Comedy, Family | Runtime: 30 Minutes
Cast: Damon Wayans, Tisha Campbell, George Gore II, Parker McKenna Posey, Jennifer Freeman

While My Wife & Kids was cut short after only five seasons, many fondly remember it.

Family man Michael Kyle dreams of having a typical and traditional family life, except his stay-at-home wife became a stock market trailblazer, his son dreams of becoming a gangsta-rapper, and his daughters have him and his wallet wrapped around their fingers.


The Re-Education of Molly Singer (2023)

Director: Andy Palmer
Genre: Film | Runtime: Comedy
Cast: Britt Robertson, Ty Simpkins, Nico Santos, Jaime Pressly, Wendie Malick

In a similar concept to Never Been Kissed, Britt Robertson plays Molly Singer, a young lawyer who is inches away from being fired for her partying ways, is hired by her boss to go undercover, enrolling as a freshman at her old alma mater, where she has been instructed to help her boss’s socially awkward kid.


30 for 30: Four Falls of Buffalo (2015)

Director: Ken Rodgers
Genre: Documentary, Sports | Runtime: 101 Minutes

The Bills came incredibly close to reaching the AFC Championship Game but lost out to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The 30 for 30 doc is a throwback to when the Bills were dominant in the NFL but always falling at the last hurdle, losing four Super Bowls in a row.


Made in Italy (2020)

Director: James D’Arcy
Genre: Drama, Comedy | Runtime: 93 Minutes
Cast: Liam Neeson, Micheál Richardson, Valeria Bilello, Lindsay Duncan, Marco Quaglia

Since Taken, Liam Neeson has spent a lot of time starring in action movies. Made in Italy is like a deep breath for the veteran Irish actor, which allows him to show off his talent for drama.

A father reunites with his estranged son after inheriting a house in Italy after the death of his wife.


Bhakshak (2024) N

Director: Pulkit
Genre: Drama, Thriller | Runtime: 134 Minutes
Cast: Bhumi Pednekar, Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, Sai Tamhankar, Surya Sharma

We expect Bhakshak to do huge numbers in Netflix India this week, but realistically, everyone from all four corners of the globe should be giving Bhakshak a chance this weekend.

It is a harrowing tale of an unwavering journalist’s quest to investigate the cases of abuse towards a shelter of young women that’s being covered up.
